Kiddit started the way most good ideas do, with a problem we couldn’t stop running into.
After having kids, we found ourselves constantly searching for the same basic things: where’s a decent playground nearby, what’s it actually like, are there recent photos so we know what to expect, does it have toilets or somewhere to grab a coffee. That information was scattered across old council pages, out-of-date blog posts and Facebook groups, never in one clean, reliable place. And when it came to kids clubs, football, dance, whatever it might be, it was the same story all over again, on a completely different set of sites.
So we decided to build the place we wished existed: one central, easy-to-use site covering playgrounds and kids clubs across Liverpool, kept up to date, with real photos and honest, useful information.
This is just the start. Kiddit is a work in progress, and we’re building it with the future in mind. The plan is to keep expanding, bringing more of what Liverpool families need under one roof.
We’re also working on a newsletter with the latest updates: new listings, activities happening around the city, and everything else worth knowing for days out with the kids in Liverpool.
Built by parents, for parents. We hope it helps.
